New Sufferers are Starting To Notice

Last Friday night, I was feeling pretty bad (I was on my feet all day) and my knees were starting to hurt, and I had a meeting I had to be at later that night. While I was sitting there at the meeting, the owner of the home offered me some Monavie active (with glucosomine and esterified fatty acids) and in about 10 minutes, I started feeling the swelling coming out of my knees and the blood rushing back to my feet, and I felt much, much better when I left. I am still amazed after 2 years of drinking this juice, how it continues to change and heal my body through great nutrition. I was also talking to a man who started drinking it because of a broken hand, and it's starting to heal, but he said he noticed that his ankles stopped hurting now and he's started running now. What a great product.

Web MD

I was just talking to a few ladies on Web MD's message boards and I felt so bad because they sounded like me when I first got diagnosed with my arthritis and I didn't know what to do, or who to talk to (besides the doctors pushing pills). I posted this on Web MD for some advice for one lady. Hopefully she'll come visit me on this site and I can help her to make sure she doesn't suffer the same fate I did. Here's what I wrote: I am now 49, but was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis when I was 36. By the time I was finally able to get some help with my arthritis, I had too much damage, and I lost my cartilidge and had to end up having hip replacement surgery and ankle fusion. I don't expect that you will believe this, but my advice comes strictly from the heart. No one was there to help me, and I suffered alot. I started a blog for people like yourself, where we can talk about ideas and suggestions and get a dialogue started. It's www.aliciaowens111.blogspot.com. Seven months after I had my surgeries, my inflammation was still there and I felt like my surgery was unsuccessful. Then my sister who had lupus, told me about a juice called Monavie and my life changed after that. I was very skeptical about it, but I tried it. After about 2 weeks, I started feeling some relief. I have now been drinking it for a little over 2 years, and my life has changed dramatically. My shoulders used to be frozen from the joint damage, and I could barely raise my arms above my chest. Now I can just about get things down from the shelves. Also, I can now bend over to put my shoes on. The juice is completely natural. No herbs, just juice. It is the original acai berry (a natural anti-inflammatory). It also has 18 other fruits from the amazon rain forest. It's JUST juice. You might want to check out their webiste www.monavie.com. I know you're probably skeptical. I know I was. But it's what helped me, and it addressed my arthritis by getting rid of the free radicals in my body. The pills that docs were giving me were only masking the pain. The free radicals were still eating away at my joints, which is why I live now with alot of joint damage that will never get better. But I have my life back -- pain free!!! I hope you will check it out, so you can feel better. But if you just want to talk more one on one, let's talk on my blog. I just want to help others get better like I did. If you have any comments, please post them on my website and not my e-mail. I want the benefit of your comments to be shared by all. Thanx

CROCS ARE COMFORTABLE

On October 5th, my sister turned 40, and we danced the night away at her party she hosted this weekend. Yes I said WE. I was able to be on my feet all night celebrating. But also, all this week I have to be on my feet, and I needed to switch from my fashion sandals to some comfy shoes, and so I went to Macys, and they had a couple of pairs of Crocs sandals left from a previous sale. I tried them on and instantly fell in love. They are sooooo comfortable. And for those of you whose feet hurt all the time, or have bad ankles from arthritis, RUN, don't walk to go get some of these. And the best thing...they were on sale for $15.00!!!
My feet feel great!!

THIS REALLY HELPED MY HOT FLASHES!!!

I found a very safe natural treatment for menopause called Amberen. Amberen is a healthy choice for menopause. I was listening to the radio one day and heard about this commercial for menopause and was very interested. When it talked about getting rid of hot flashes, I called immediately and ordered it. I was having at least 7 to 10 hot flashes a day, where the water was dripping off of my face. The Amberen comes in a 3 month supply. I ordered my 3 month supply. Because I had such severe hot flashes, it took about 3 weeks before I started to see a difference.
After the third week, I was only having about 2 to 3 hot flashes a day. By the end of my third month I was down to approximately only 1 hot flash a day. But the great thing about that hot flash was that my face only got warm. No water dripping off of my face. Amberen is clinically tested and is better than using HRT (Hormone Replace Therapy) which can cause cancer after prolonged use.
Whether you are in the early stages of menopause or the advanced stages, Amberen can work for you. I swear by it, and have recommended it to plenty of people. For those of you who really are serious about dealing with this problem, the website is http://stopflashes.com/ Try it!!

ACT LIKE A LADY, THINK LIKE A MAN

All of you who are Steve Harvey fans and have heard of his book, "Act like a lady, think like a man", listen up!!! I checked out this book at Target but the book was $15.00 at the time, and I really didn't want to spend that much money. So I checked on the used book site ALIBRIS (see the link on my blog), and I found some brand new hard copies there for $12.99. Also there were some signed copies for $10.43 (not sure if they were used) and some issues for $10.00 (I think these are paperback).

Well, just as promised, I took a picture of not only the new kitchen set, but the coffee table I got, me and hubby worked out a deal with the store owner to throw the table in at a discount as a package deal. Now I just have to paint my kitchen walls...yikes!!!

EATING HABITS CAN WORSEN SYMPTOMS

Dietary changes won't cure your arthritis, but altering what you eat can reduce your painful symptoms by as much as 70% and lessen your need for anti-inflammatory medication. The key, say dietary advocates, is reducing consumption of foods such as dairy products, meats, fats, and sugars while increasing your intake of vegetables, beans, fiber and vitamin and mineral supplements. These dietary changes suppress the production of free radicals, extremely unstable and destructive molecules that cause inflammation, pain, and joint damage, says Neal Barnard, M.D., president of the Physician's Committee for Responsible Medicine.

I fought these changes in my life for years, and as a result, I have considerable joint damage. I finally listened and I stopped eating such things as chicken, potatoes, tomatoes, milk and incorporated more fruits (non citrus) and vegetables into my diet. That halted the progress of my joint degeneration.

I only wish someone would have pounded that into my head before I let it change my body. Take it from someone who's been there. Please pass this on to someone you think it might help.

MY KITCHEN TABLE IS HERE!!!

My kitchen table and chairs arrived today and I must say it looks great. But my small problem is that now that the set is in the kitchen, it makes my curtains look so shabby. So I'm taking those down and that should make all the difference in the world.

While I was out today, I wore my sandals with a small heal. Actually I did a little too much because the bottoms of my feet hurt a little. But such a small price to pay for helping the movers bring the chairs in the house. Please let me know if there are friends or family members suffering with some type of pain that would benefit from information we're going to be sharing with each other. Make sure you make all comments through my blog so everyone can see the comments. Thanks, and please help me to get out there and find some people to help!!!

New Kitchen Set

Great news!!! My new kitchen set is arriving tomorrow and I can't wait. I ordered it last week and it's beautiful. But as you know, when you get something new in the house, you need to spiffy up the rest of the place. So I called my friend over to come paint my living room walls. I was even able to help out by picking up one side of the table and moving it, thanks to that Monavie I've been drinking. I'll let you know what it looks like tomorrow. Can't wait!!

Why Won't People Accept Your Help?

Why is it, when you try to help people, they ignore your help. I talked to a lady at the store and she told me she had arthritis in her hip and her ankle. Being that I just had my ankes and my hips replaced 4 years ago, I asked her if she had any cartiledge left. She said yes. I told her I had none left, that it was bone on bone in my situation and that's why I had to get both my hips and ankles replaced. I told her as long as she had cartiledge left, she could do something about it. I told her about a natural drink that I've been using for the last 2 years that absolutely changed my life. I no longer walk with a cane, or a walker because of this juice. i know it was the juice and not the surgery, because 7 months after my first surgery, I was still walking with a cane. She just told me flat out no. There was no proof, and she had no interest. Have any of you had that experience?
